STARS4ALL – A Collective Awareness Platform for Promoting Dark Skies in Europe
STARS4ALL aims at representing this right of “stars for all the citizens”. Our objective is to encourage citizens to care and preserve the darkness of European skies beyond 2015, the International Year of the Light. Artificial light at night is associated with the sense of security, wealth and modernity. Hence, light pollution is widely spreading after the onset of darkness. STARS4ALL is a European project raising awareness about the negative effects of artificial light on human wellbeing, biodiversity, visibility of stars, safety and energy waste.
