BlogImageItaly’s  festival Risorgi Marche 2018 attracted a large public success. Some 150.000 participants came together to  (re)discover mountain regions that suffered serious consequences from the earthquake disaster. The event strengthens solidarity, the collaborative economy, and brought sustainable forms of tourism back to that region.

In addition to the artists who volunteered their talent, participants also joined the ride-sharing offer of  BlaBla car and other partners of the EU project CROWD4ROADS to collect data on-the-move on how ‘bumpy’ or ‘smooth’ their ride was. This data goes into a collective intelligence platform for analysis, then the outcome is mapped and provided to regional authorities to help them monitor the quality of the public road infrastructure.
