DSIfair2017Reporting on main lessons learned and highlights

The DSI Fair 2017 has been a great success: with more than 500 registered participants, more than 70 speakers from 30 different countries worldwide it has voiced active players from all over Europe and beyond, including groups and individuals from civil society, academia and industry, NGOs, activists, researchers, students and hackers.

During the two-day event, the Manifesto for Networked Innovation has also been presented and discussed (Participate to the online consultation dsimanifesto.eu). This includes a set of recommendations for policy-makers indicating how digital social innovation processes can be enforced, transferred and potentially reused for an effective scale-up of social innovation initiatives across the whole European society.

Through discussions and lessons learned via the plenary sessions and the 6 parallel workshops across the 2 days of the events, it has been possible to collect and identify important factors that will contribute shaping the final version of DSI Manifesto to be completed in Rimini (Italy) at the DSI Manifesto workshop to be held on the 23rd May 2017 dsimanifesto.eu
